Nicole Munshower, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant at Inspiration Health, specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders and mental health medication management. With a strong foundation in family medicine and a commitment to patient-centered care, Nicole is dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery and improved well-being.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Old Dominion University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her journey in healthcare began as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, where she gained valuable experience in triage, acute care, and patient management during both war and peacetime. Following her military service, Nicole worked as a mental health worker, supporting patients with severe mental health conditions and managing medication.
At Inspiration Health, Nicole focuses on creating a supportive and open environment for her patients. She collaborates with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Nicole’s expertise in chronic disease management and preventative medicine enhances her holistic approach to patient care.
Nicole is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and enjoys mentoring future physician assistants as a preceptor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Outside of her professional life, Nicole enjoys hiking with her dogs, spending time at the beach, and crafting hand-made furniture.
Her extensive experience and dedication to patient empowerment make Nicole a vital part of the Inspiration Health team, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
